Genre: Inspirational Recently, I was talking to a friend about a relative that had passed away many years ago. I was particularly close to this person and shortly after he died I had a dream (at least that is what I call it). We were sitting together at the kitchen table and talking. Nothing profound; no secret messages; just a normal everyday conversation. Then, he stood up, said good-bye and walked out of the front door. That was the “dream”. But it seemed soooooooo real – to this day, I question whether or not I was really sitting at that table saying good bye to a good friend. As a result of this conversation, my friend from work decided to give me “Halfway Across the River” as a birthday present.
What a thoughtful present! Death and dying is not usually considered a subject that is pleasant. |
