Volume II Issue I

FROM THE EDITOR

I love this time of year. I have an opportunity to be introspective about the past year while I gear up for what exciting new things are ahead of us.

“On the Horizon” for 2008 was Pick Me, Pick Me, our own limerick book and the beginnings of a number of author projects. We released Pick Me, Pick Me, finished the accompanying audio book, added a coloring book but the limerick book and other author projects have been moved to 2009. “On the Horizon” for 2009 are bigger and better projects that will involve the local community and bring us to a national level.

We recently moved to our new location on Greg Street in Reno. That was a huge decision. In this economy, no one wants to leave a location that has been there for a very long time. In the long run, we believe we will serve our clients better than we could have at our old location.

Please visit us at 280 Greg St, #10 in Reno. We will be having an open house and a chamber mixer on April 16, 2009! Join us for a tour of our new facility.

Who did we see recently with Geraldo Rivera? Believe it or not, Edgar, my son-in-law found himself on a plane with Geraldo who graciously allowed Edgar to take a quick photo with him.

And to make sure I don’t leave anyone out in my name-dropping antics, nephew Rob Black, the head chef at a Los Angeles establishment was seen recently on tour with Neil Diamond (cooking, not playing). Although Rob plays bass for Pariaus, he was not asked to play on tour (darn!) Just cook! He seemed to enjoy the tour and he commented that he learned a lot!
