WWe’ve talked about many members of the family in our “About LeRue Press” section. We’ve told you how the company began with Leonard and Ruby (Mom & Dad) leading the way. We discussed Travis (nephew) and OMA Photography. We’ve shown what a great graphic artist Lenore (sister & partner) is. Terry (brother) provided a bit of artistry with his poem “Alamo”. We even gave you some insight to my passion for LeRue Press (aka Publishing from the Heart) and my desire to see writers in print.
In this issue, we want to thank the people that do the day to day hands on work for us. Kathleen (sister-in-law and partner) and Tanisha (daughter) take orders in our shop, answer customers questions, send out invoices, print, cut and bind our orders, (including The LeRue Review) respond to our writers and just make sure everything goes smoothly throughout the week. We often talk about the “talent” each of our family members possess. These folks possess a great talent. Although they may tell us they don’t have anything creative to offer, they make our lives extremely comfortable and sometimes have to be very “creative” to accomplish their tasks and meet deadlines. They provide the support so we can offer businesses and individuals products and services and know we can deliver what we say we will.
We can count on them to be there without question and with a smile. It may be a cliché but “through thick and thin” they always come through. And believe me, we’ve been tested. We’re glad they are part of the team. |
